ABOUT ME

Elaine Stevens (also know as The Home Lady®) specializes in local residential resale, new builds, and investment properties. She is the creator of the Operation Veteran Homeownership™ initiative and for the last 20 years has helped hundreds of US Veterans realize the American Dream of Homeownership. About The Home Lady®. 

She was born and raised in New York City, the only child of Jamaican immigrants. She is an Ivy League graduate of Mt. Holyoke College in Massachusetts, where she attended on a scholarship.
 
The Home Lady®, taught elementary school in New York, Ocala, Sparr, Anthony, and Hialeah, Florida. She successfully uses her experience as a former public school teacher to educate Veterans about their VA Home Loan benefits and their Pot of Gold.
 
Elaine also uses her user-friendly humor to help Veterans understand how to get the maximum use of their Certificate of Eligibility.

Elaine is celebrating her 29th anniversary of marriage to one of her former home buyers from Evanston, Illinois, where she began her career in real estate.    She has two granddaughters in Huntsville, Alabama, near the Redstone Arsenal.
